The Choir

The choir was established in 2001 by Mrs. Lynne Laskey and Mr. Les Jones. Over the years, the choir have built up a good reputation in the village and further afield. The choir have participated in the Mayors Civic Service in 2004 and sung  at many weddings and church events. The Choir is affiliated to the Royal School Of Church Music and a number of the Choristers have been awarded and others are training for their 'Voice For Life' ribbons.

Choir practice takes place every Friday (except during school holidays). Choir practice starts at 6:15pm and lasts approx. 1 hour. New members are always welcome!

The Organ

The 2 Manual, Henry Jones & Sons (South Kensington) Organ was installed in the church in 1909 and is "Dedicated To The Service Of God  In Memory  Of Rees Jenkins ESQ. J.P. Who Entered Into Rest January 1st 1907. The Organ Was Erected At The Sole Expense Of His Widow Mary Jenkins". The organ  is provided with wind from an electrical pump in the vestry. Previous to the electricity supply being installed on the organ it would have been pumped using a lever on the side of the organ which is still visible today. In 2003 the organ pump caught fire and caused extensive damage to the pump. A new pump was installed and the organ is now in good working condition. The organ occupies the space between the priests vestry and the choir stalls, giving the organist a good view of the Congregation, Choir and the Main Altar.
